Teen Account Creation

  1. Visit the Amazon website: Go to www.amazon.com in your web browser.

  2. Click on "Account & Lists": In the upper-right corner of the Amazon homepage, you will find a button labeled "Account & Lists." Click on it.

  3. Sign in to your Amazon account: If you already have an Amazon account, sign in using your email address or mobile number and password. If you don't have an Amazon account, click on "Start here" or "New customer? Start here" to create a new account following the previous guide.

  4. Access Amazon Household settings: Once you are signed in, hover over the "Account & Lists" button again, and a dropdown menu will appear. Scroll down and click on "Your Account" under the "Your Lists" section.

  5. Navigate to Amazon Household: On the "Your Account" page, scroll down to the "Shopping programs and rentals" section. Under it, click on "Amazon Household."

  6. Add a teen: In the Amazon Household settings, you will find an option to "Add a Teen." Click on it to begin the process.

  7. Provide your teen's information: Enter your teen's name, birthdate, and email address. It's important to ensure that you enter accurate information.

  8. Set up parental permissions: Select the parental permissions you want to grant to your teen. This includes the ability to make purchases, access payment methods, and view order details. Choose the appropriate options based on your preferences.

  9. Review and confirm: Review the information you have entered, the permissions selected, and the terms and conditions. Once you are satisfied, click on "Send an invitation."

  10. Notify your teen: Amazon will send an invitation email to the provided email address of your teen. Inform your teen to check their email and follow the instructions in the email to accept the invitation.

  11. Monitor and approve purchases: As a parent or guardian, you will receive notifications for your teen's purchases. You can review and approve or decline these purchases by accessing the Amazon Household settings.

That's it! You have successfully created an Amazon Teen account. Your teen account will still have access to Prime and will increase your task count to better aid in your freebie success!
